And here it is! By 1 September, we are opening the comics competition in Czechia, Poland, Slovenia, and Portugal. Are you interested in illustration or comics, and do you care about the world around us? If so, then you can start with sketching your comic’s hero.
The main topic of the competition is 17 Sustainable development goals defined by the UN in 2015. They cover issues from environmental protection to human rights and world peace. And we believe there is much inspiration for many comics to be created.
At this stage, competitions are organized separately at the national level by each of our partner organizations. See the links below. The competitions have similar rules in all four countries, with 15 winners awarded at the end of the competition. The winners from each country will travel to Portugal in summer 2022 to participate in a creative summer camp together with authors from around Europe.
