Alongside the inauguration of the new headquarters for community support in the Northern Region of Portugal, on October 23, 2022, in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal, the Talking Bubbles International Comic Exhibition was inaugurated.
With an introductory ceremony, where the Talking Bubbles project was presented, from its first stages (Exhibition on Climate Change, Launch of the Comic Strip Competition and Webinar for teachers and multipliers), this marked the beginning of the final stage, the Vernissage and the first of five exhibitions that displayed the work of the winners and participants of the Talking Bubbles Summer Camp.
With almost 40 people present, the event also counted with the presence of local representatives of the council and the town hall, giving local relevance to the stories and messages that our young teenagers tried to pass on in their Comics, about the importance of us all being active citizens and mobilized for a fairer and more sustainable world.
The exhibition was open to the public for a month, inviting everyone who saw it to interpret the various messages.
